It was a big week for nerd culture and a big week at Reel to Reel movies. Here’s what I put out into the world this week…
- Erin and I talked about the casting news that gave the internet a nosebleed in All New Showcase #293: Batfleck.
- At Reel to Reel it was Robin Hood Week, beginning with Errol Flynn in The Adventures of Robin Hood (1938).
- Time marched on to the Disney version with Brian Bedford in Robin Hood (1973).
- An older Robin Hood took the stage in Sean Connery in Robin and Marian (1976).
- We met the Robin Hood of my youth in Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991).
- And a version that wasn’t quite as funny as when I was 15 in Cary Elwes in Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993).
